What's Image Quick Saver?

Image Quick Saver was designed to help you save multiple web images qucikly. Simply select multiple  images with mouse,  drag them onto the vertical bar, then click download, all work is done for you! The simplist way, by click lucky, you can get  the biggest image of current web page and save into your disk directory just with one click!  

Image quick saveris specifically designed to address  the biggest problems when saving images on the web.When saving images with IE, you have to save each image serperately, that is to say if you want to save 20 pictures you have to click 20 times .Yet,alternately, you can save the whole web page and all pictures on the web page will be saved into a foler. But if you look up the folder, some images like the web site log, ad pictures are  there too. So you have to choose the desired pictures and  move them to another folder again. Um, life is not easy today?

Installing Image Quick Saver

Image quick saver is distributed with the standard installation package. Just download  the setup executable file and run it .

Note:  This software require IE(Microsoft Internet Explorer) 5.5 above.

 Uninstalling Image Quick Saver

You could uninstal image quick saver in windows  control panel  add or remove software.Find  Image quick saver in current installed program and then click remove to uninstall.

OK,  install Image Quick Saver at first.

1.Please Open IE (microsoft internet explorer). You should find a icon   on IE toolbars band.

If there is none, please do following:

a)From IE menu, View->Toolbars->Customize

b)Choose Image Quick Saver from available toolbar buttons, then click 'add->' .

c)Make sure Image Quick saver button is among current toolbar buttons. Then click 'Close'

2)by click the toolbar button, you can show or hide Image quick saver desk band. 
Sometimes you may click twice in order to hide or show it.

Another way to show Image quick saver, from IE menu View->Explorer Bar->Image Quick Saver.

Now ,you can call Image quick saver any time when you run IE  now.
For detail operation please have a look at Options.

Mouse select the images you want and drag them onto  the vertical bar and drop,you get them.
Then by click 'download now',you can save them into disk folder.

But at first you should decide some options .See below picture:

Hint: 
You can click '+' to expand the section or '-' to collapse the sectoin. 
Also you can double click the title of section to expand or collapse it.

Set  images filter condition , what  save file name to  use  and where to store 

You can select multiple images of the web by mouse, but usually there are some pictures you do want to get rid of .
So you can set one or more filter conditions .

Click more options...., a dialog will appear.

Images show options

url contain
For example, three image's url is http://.../big1.jpg,http://.../big2.jpg,http://.../small1.jpg,   
you can set the condiction 'big' to refer ahead two images, or small to refer last image.

format
Choose the images by format, one format of  jpg,jpeg,gif,png or all

width
Specify the images' min width. All images which width are below the value will be  filtered

height
Specify the images' min height. All images which height are below the value will be filtered.

if no extension found,use
Sometimes the images do not have a file name extension(such as jpg,gif). You can give a default extension. Usually the extensiion is jpg.

force extension

If a file extension is not among jpg, jpeg, gif, png, you can set a extension. For example, if a file name is a.img, check the option and set the value jpg, then the file name is a.jpg while saved.

Images save option

name
For automatic work, you can set image save file  name at first. 
keep origin name:  image name is same as origin name, such as flower.jpg
datetime + origin name:  add current datetime before originname, such as 03201600111_01_flower.jpg 
(0320161211 means Mar 20,16:12:11, 01 is the order number. 
If you choose 20 images, the order number is 01,02,03...20)
title + origin name: web page title + origin image name. 
title + datetime + name: web page title +  current datetime + origin file name

create sub folder name by title
If you  want keep the orgin image name as filename,  this option is usually checked. Even two images' name are same, but they are saved into different folders because they come from different title web page. Also the two different folders are under the same directory.

For example, you make the main folder e:\flower\mypicuures, you may save some images from msn to the sub folder msn,and save some images from yahoo to the sub folder yahoo!

Tell the software the main  folder  that images saved into . As above,  the main folder is e:\flower\my pcitures.

open the folder
You may want to  have a look at the images you have saved. By click the link, the main folder is open for you to browser. 

Save about options as default
Save current options for next time.f you open a new web page, the above options will bet set by program automaticly.

I'm a skill user, do not prompt hints
If  you are a skill user, you way want no hints prompt because the hint windows always occupy a display area and you could not  see what 's behind the hint windows.

Now you have learned more options above, let see how to download images.

Again, Images download
If you have set all options, you can select the images from web page and drag them onto the vertical bar. 
Normally you'll see them immediately  in the desk band bottom area.

download now: 
Click to download the images you see.

make seletable:
Some web page disable user using mouse to select anything, you could click the link to make web page seletable.

 antifreeze: 
Occasionally, if you can not close current web page  you may check  this option  .

display origin size:
Wheather show  thumbnails or in their normal size.

change current web page title: 
Change the title of  web page where images come from. Because some characters of the tilte, like ?,*,/,etc can not be used as file name characters, you must change the title if you want to save the images using the title as part of the file name.

lucky: 
 If a web page has many  images, but only the largest one is the one you want. Click lucky and you get it!

click:
Work with lucky only. 
Some web pages show a large image and if you click the image IE will navigate to another web page and show another big image. If this happens, you check the option. Click lucy with click opiton, Image quick saver will save current large image and then navigate to another web page, as  if you  click the image manually. 

A second chance to choose images

You selected the images you want, and filter them by image width ,height,url etc. At last,you still have chance to get rid of some before downloading. 

See above, there are two images now. 
You can check the number (1 or 2)  to decide each  picture should be saved or not. 
Click on the image one or twice does the same.

Source url:  link to the url where images come from . Click it the IE will navigate to the images' source web address .

Hints and Tipsgo top

Normally you can use the shortcut Ctrl+A or right mouse to select all the web page. If you can not , click make selectable.

If you want the biggest image of current web page, just click lucky.
Click + or  - on the option section header  to expand or collapse. Double click do the same work.

Click on the image thumbnails  to choose  them or not before downloading.

IE Error handle
If ie prompt a error dialog and maybe caused by Image quick saver, you can click the button on IE toolbar  to close Image quick saver desk band.  You can do remain work without image quick saver band.If you want use image quick saver again, we suggest you close all IE window and restart IE. Unfortunately the reason why it happens is not clear, maybe by IE itself or sometimes by image quick saver. We are sorry for that .Please fell free to report a error.
